Paradise
by Eric Bennett

In the morning, as the golden orb of the sun breaks the darkened surface of the horizon, the tender beams of light so pure caress the landscape, with the lasting passion of the life of a new day.... They are Lovers, The Land, And The sky... each shadow cast upon the surface of the earth, a cool tender pleasure laced kiss, each ray of gentle sun that touches the land, a fleeting pleasure, In the eyes of the rising wispy clouds, as they stand in their azure blue saddles, riding the sky, the guardians of this earth...

In the afternoon, the sun reigns high, braced in it's golden throne, gazing down upon it's lover, the earth... it's intense passion searing, as an occasional cloud passes beneath it, receiving it's warm pleasant caress of light... and as it looks down, what beauty it sees?, The face of the earth, the silver streams that flow like tears across the soil surface of the earth, the hanging trees that cast their shadows upon both land and river... and the snow capped mountains, with showers of Ice, Ice that brings life, Ice, That embraces and holds the lements of nature inside it... for all to see in a crystal palace...Ice is the beaty of the land...

In the Evening, as the sun drops from it's throne, dropping from it's place, it's intense efforts of passion throughout the day now spent into a warm, golden radiant glow, which lights the retreating clouds with silver passion, as it embraces it's returning children, lighting their crests with it's mark, of gentle pinks, soft oranges, and beautiful purples, and the sky, as it bids it's farewell to it's master the sun, and extends it's welcome to the pale silver moon, tinting to a gentle gradient of pink to purple...

And in the night, on the shores of the lands, as the water of the ocean laps hungrily and the diamond-sanded shores, the moon casts it's baleful gleaming pure light over the surface of the earth, lighting the waves of the sea in it's silver radiance, gentle, whispering, every moving ripple and gleams beneath the cloak of the night black sky... drawing the love, to it's spectacular end.... for these four times, I can see,

Paradise, will be there for me.
